About Katie Butterson:

Katie Butterson is the owner of Northeast Protection Group. As the owner of Northeast Protection Group, Katie handles a lot of the back end of running the business. She also handles sales for the agency. Katie’s favorite part of owning Northeast Protection Group is being her own boss and having the ability to focus on the client’s needs more than meeting a company’s sales goal.

Education/Experience:

Katie has a Liberal Arts Associates degree from Niagara County Community College. Katie has nine years of insurance history as she worked with her mom’s prior captive agency in the sales position. With her time there she has learned not only the sales and how liability insurance works in New York, but also what it takes to run an agency. For the last five years of her time there, Katie was the manager and oversaw other sales producers in the agency.

As the agency owner, Katie has her New York State Personal Lines Insurance License and has in-depth knowledge in handling and understanding liability insurance for families to best protect their assets. Katie works with clients to figure out the best coverage needed in order to protect their assets and making sure that their insurance does not leave any gaps in liability protection. Katie understands that each client is unique, and each person needs their own personalized policies.

Interests:

Katie is involved in a local BNI chapter, Executive Marketing Team, and is serving as the Vice President. With her chapter, Katie networks with other business professionals. With this Katie and her team are able to create a relationship where they trust one another and are confident enough to refer their clients to each other.

Katie recently got married in October 2021 to her husband Luke at Klocs in West Seneca, New York. When not at work, Katie enjoys relaxing at home with her husband, dog – Sheamus, and their cat, Griz. Katie also likes spending time with her family and friends and is a huge Buffalo Bills fan!
